Educational activities

Pre- and postgraduate courses

Copenhagen Center for Glycocalyx Research takes pride in creating a stimulating research environment for students, and contributes to several pre- and postgraduate educational activities at University of Copenhagen. For example, the CGR faculty is teaching at undergraduate courses such as Medical Cell- and Tissue biology and Basic Human Biology, and CGR also hosts biannual PhD courses in Medical Glycobiology, Structural Glycobiology and Precise Gene Editing.

International postgraduate training

CGR is participating in two new EU Innovative Training Networks to train new generations of international researchers in developing their skills in entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. Additionally, CGR offers training in glycobiology and precise gene editing to collaborators and visiting researchers to promote technology transfer and knowledge exchange.

Student supervision

All students at CGR are trained through project team meetings, weekly student seminars and individual student-PI career development meetings.
